Drank this a bit past it's prime. Lost some of the tannic backbone but that's okay by me.

2010 is drinking quite beautifully even at this adolescent stage. Dark fruits and grippy tannins. Decent acidity provides good balance. Finish lingers for minutes with that classic "Rutherford dust". Best paired with a well marbled ribeye.

A guest gave me some of this to taste and what a treat it was. Lighter in color, bordering on a faded brick and orange rim, the nose was incredible and floral. Tame compared to wines of today, it was soft and yet the palate still had a slight bit of tannic acid, just enough to notice. A really beautiful wine and I can't get enough.

Always amazing no matter what vintage. Love that it doesn't need much time to open. Great for bringing to restaurants

Still a baby. Complex and layered nose. Immediate dark berries (black currant and cassis) then red fruit of cherries and a hint of earth/dirt. Similar complexity on the palate with grippy tannins. Really good juice!! 🍷
