Blend of 60% Touriga Franca with 20% Touriga Nacional and small portions of other grapes, a challenging vintage but turned out extremely nice. Deep Ruby with aromas of fresh, ripe dark fruit and notes of sweet cacao and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe plum and currants with notes of cacao, espresso and citrus zest. Well balanced, fine tannins, still tight, long finish ending with ripe juicy fruit, spice and earthy character. Very Nice! Can drink now but will develop over next decade!
