Very aromatic nose with plums, blueberries, dust, violets, earth, leather, tobacco leaf and peppercorn. I really liked the nose.
Medium-bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
On the palate, plums, cranberries, blueberries, earth, spices, peppercorn, leather, smoke, river rocks and graphites.
Short finish with round tannins and tangy pomegranates.
This is a nice Syrah from Spain. Showing mild complexity with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy with a tangy finish.
Needs an hour to open up properly, and might need one more year in the bottle to balance itself out. A good everyday red, and better with food.
