Was not expecting much out of this one, but was pleasantly surprised. This Quail Oak chardonnay is decent (read really good) for the price.

I can imagine this Chardonnay is not representative of grape as a whole, but I enjoyed it for what is was. Personally I like how this Chard had more acidity and less thick oak/buttery flavors. More like a savory Sauv. Blanc. Some straightforward peach flavors or melon. But this is great for the price and for a summer white.
