This wine is a tad acidic, let it breathe, you will be rewarded. The nose complexity is very intriguing, the mouth feel is quite light. But great on the satisfaction!

Monferrato DOC 2011, 14%.
Bottle tasted in November 2014.
Blend of Barbera and Syrah grapes, which was unexpected for me and very satisfactory.
Aged in wood for about 10 months, refined in the bottle, beautiful red-purple color.
Nose rich of red fruits, and hints of wood.
Full-bodied, with smooth tannins, but still fresh in the mouth.
I loved it!

2011 in 2017. Very acidic. Nice barberra flavor balanced by Syrah.

Rich and intense -- and excellent value. Fruity, dark raspberry and some tar and meatiness from the Syrah in the blend. Unique for northern Italy.

OK, a little thin for our grill tonight.

BlackBerry on the nose, starts off light and refreshing then changes to an acidic, young berry, medium body character. Light tannins do not detract...awesome wine

Holy tart...until it breathes a bit. Put it through the aerator and give it s few minutes, and it's a beautiful, smooth, way too easy to drink Barbera.

All the reasons I love wines from this region. The juicy fruit and smooth, velvety texture makes this a winner!

Fruity, dry, and lingers. Paired great with veal.
