The Calcarius project from Valentina Passalacqu comes in a liter bottle which is usually a warning sign for boring basic. I was really surprised by the quality, balance, and beauty in this rose of Negroamaro. It has some complexity and elegance through sweet wild strawberry and well integrated notes of herbs and the tiniest bit of apple cider vinegar.
