One of the better cesanese I have had, great acidity, good dark fruit, a little tobacco in the finish…wish I saw more of these

What a nice, inexpensive wine. Spice, almost nutmeg, greets me on the nose . The wine has raisin-y red fruit with very supple body and a nice finish. I have never had the Cesanese grapes before. It reminds me of a young baby Amarone. It is a great pairing wine for my Meal-- I just wish I had tripe in my grandmother's sauce that would be the absolute pairing.

Good concentration on the currant and cherry flavored. Well structured with a pleasant spiciness on the back end. It's just a little...slight. Hits one or two notes and then disappears. Would be a great grilling wine.
