I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Dark and bold. Not bad on the nose - no explosion however. Very tame fragrance of sugared fruit, cloves. Taste fell flat for me, literally. Started off great but by the back of the tongue, was dead. Flavour overtone was more spice than fruit. Maybe an earlier vintage??

I don't think I've ever had a wine from South Africa before now. Super tasty! Smooth, bright red fruit, drinkable.
