The Poggio dei Gorleri Albium is the more complex wine compared to its little brother, the Cycnus. The wine producer Poggio dei Gorleri, from the small hamlet Gorleri, is located high above the Ligurian coast near Imperia, called the Ligure di Ponente, Italy. This area is the only part of the Ligurian coast where the Pigato grape is produced. The wine is 100% Pigato, a minerally, salty, very fresh white wine with lots of white fruit, apple, pear, some peach, fine herbs and a long finish. Only 3,000 bottles produced.
