If you’re going to give me the year it was planted, throw it on the back and tell me more about the site! Maybe it’s just me, I’m a old vine history geek. Kinda lacks depth, there is fruit, and it’s not simple but it’s not much past one dimensional. Bet this wine is a banger in cold vintages. Not sure that’s a thing anymore on Sonoma Mtn though

Pinot Meunier is definitely having itself a moment right now. My first 100% still Meunier bottle and it’s pretty darn interesting. Crazy gorgeous shock red color. Subdued nose at first full of herbs and spice. Soft red fruits and plenty of vanilla. Raspberries explode all over this after giving it plenty of time and air.

A funky, natural pure Meunier from Sonoma Mountain. All of those parts sound great and honestly they combine into something better. Zesty and full of character, this is a light and bright wine that dances playfully, enticing you. The palate features a ton of berry fun with raspberries, cherries, blueberries, and cranberries. A touch of dirt and spice to take us home. This is fun as hell and very unique. Definitely make it a point to check it out.
