Pio Cesare Barbaresco 1999. Sublime. I had it with Bagna Caoda and peppers, celery, battrave, roasted onions; roasted lamb with mushrooms and artichokes, and Saint Felicien cheese. While the rest of the world catches up with the Nebbiolos 1995-2000, this wine makes you feel that in heaven they must be serving Barbaresco.
