A delicate pale pink with tiny, effusive bubbles. Fun, fruity, and finesse. That pretty much sums this up. All fruit on the nose with strawberry jam and pomegranate juice. Fresh red cherries and raspberries. Just a bit of tangerine for good measure.

Composed of all Grand Cru fruit, with Chardonnay from Le Mesnil Sur Oger and Pinot Noir from Ambonnay. Deliciously priced, this seems to almost be made just for picnics with that pretty girl you rarely get to visit. Very effervescent upon opening, this is just as good or even better on day 2 or 3 because the fruit becomes more and more prominent over time.

Flitting on the tongue, it’s a rather lively sip full of energy. The fruit bouquet transfers to the palate with the addition of yeast and smoke with the suggestion of cinnamon. Short finish but that’s fine because you don’t let it linger too long before pouring another glass.

Nice rose grand cru champagne. Spikes on yeastiness with a bit less acid than I’d like. Medium bubbles which could also have more finesse. Still a nice wine.
