RIESLING RIED LOIBENBERG
This is a terrific Austrian Riesling. Age has helped it develop some complexity in the nose, where it shows deep ripe apples, some petrol notes, warm earth and mineral notes. Flavors are very deep, with dark-mineral infused deep and ripe fruit, very good concentration and acids.

Oct 22nd, 2020For me would be hard to differentiate from Pinot Gris as there is only medium acid, despite a proud white flower and citrus bouquet. Asparagus and other vegetal character takes this clearly out of Germany on blind tasting. Low volatiles.

Aug 22nd, 2016Fint utvecklad. Mogen fyllig frukt med bra koncentration och riktigt elektrisk inramning. Persika, lime, söta kryddor, fläder, honung och zestigt riv. Bra peak just nu.

Dec 24th, 2019Light & crisp with white stone fruit, some flowers and a whiff of white pepper. Built around a core of juicy acidity, with peach & apricot on the forefront and a sweet lemon tone in the finish. More Austrian than Riesling. Still better than the entry level GrüVes from him. Nice
