Mendoza Torrontés

Pale lemon; pronounced intensity aromas of golden pear, nectarine, white grapefruit, white flower, musk, passionflower, kaffir lime leaf; dry, high acid, medium alcohol, medium body, pronounced intensity flavors consistent with aromas; I blind called this a large a Sauvignon Blanc, all the aromas and flavors were pointing me that way with all the musky fruit, very surprising

Interesting light crisp white. Made from 100% Torrontes which has a fruity nose with a dry taste. Aromas of stone fruits and sweet floral notes. On the palate peach flavors with citrus zest, very crisp. Medium finish ending with lemon tones. A must try! Great with spicy foods.

Good daily drinker. Moderate acidity and lighter body make it pair with spicier lighter bodied foods. Would pair with spicy seafood soups

Lovely white - went very nice with our Thai Turkey Rice dish.

This is a very nice white with lemon, lime, and pear flavors. Acidity is right and you will think it’s a Sauvignon Blanc.

Very good for price range. Daily drinker for a hot day or a picnic.

Very nice. Pale yellow with citrus, green apple and buttery flavors. Good choice for spicy asian or curry dishes.

Light honey-hued. Aromas and flavors of cream, lemon, minerals, and pear. Light body and high acidity. Zesty on the nose; crisp and dry on the finish with hints of passionfruit, salt, and stone. Pairs well with seafood. Reminiscent of a lemon/lime seltzer. Made from 100% Torrontes.

Weird torrontés. It seems to me more like a weak Sauvignon Blanc than a torrontés. Pale straw with medium low body. Passion fruit, pineapple and pear on the nose. Corrected acidity on the palate. Rather short.

Smells sweet. Tastes something (not sure) but I don't like it.
