08’ Peter Michael Les Pavots. Very few wines that have elegance & power. Silky textures that caress the palate. No holes or slack in this. Drinking very close to a pop & pour . Don’t think you can go wrong with anything they have made in the last 15 years. Pure enjoyment! It’s a coin flip between the 2008 & 2009 at this particular point. I’m so surprised this wine isn’t year after year a top 💯 wine. Drinking now. Edit - 2009 - One of the best California blends from that vintage!

Decanted and was absolutely beautiful. Young. Cedar cigar. Elegant tannins. No smoke taint. Wait 3 more years

08' Burgundy to bordeaux... how many wineries do it better? Decant for an hour+. Amazing display! Rich chocolate, tobacco, cedar, tar, dried flowers. I would put this up against their 02' or 07'.

Wine tasting on Christmas Eve. Killer wine! Top wine of the year for me.

Dark fruit, red fruit with great texture and power -- especially mid palate.
