Drank 2/7/19. Tasting event. Tasting pour.

Carmel, some yeast, apple, and a touch of wood on the nose. Yellow apple lemon curd on the palate. Medium body and finish. An excellent value vintage champagne ($42 on sale).

Anniversary wine part 1 - delicious but a slight balance issue, may be better without food. Still great acid and a clean finish. Did like other “lesser” offerings from this producer more.

A blanc de blancs from the great year of -08; not a very typical BdB as the color was golden, bubbles were large and numerous, and the nose included oranges, red apples, nougat, and white toast; of the taste I would have guessed a brut or even a blanc de noirs from the rich flavours and aromas of red fruit, choclate and nuts. Nice surprise at Richard Juhlin's champagne bar in Stockholm.
