Vanilla, lemon, flinty notes along with a minerally, chalky touch on the nose. It's not minerally like a Chablis but there is a thing there. The palate is mostly acid driven, in an almost unbalanced way, which is surprising for chardonnay. The finish is lemony and shows a touch of vanilla. It's good but not great. A good sipper which could benefit from a nice creamy meal to go along.

Good inexpensive chard from down under! I like that it's very dry and showing a great acid backbone.

The nose is made of lemon, yellow fruits (peach or mango?) and a little bit of that distinctive varietal marker that I cannot describe better than gun powder. The palate is made of a massive acid backbone taking everything in its wake, some very nice lemony notes all along, a good width too, with a nice, vivid mouthfeel and a finish that lasts for a while with those lemony notes. It's not great but it's very good and well made. First Aussie chardo in a very long while and good value for the money, but I'm not surprised given the domain.

Fresh and crisp lemon notes. Honeyed finish. Love it.
