A rival for the very best wine ever made at the former Pax Wine Cellars, this stem-affected, truly cool climate Syrah-version showcase fantastic, floral aromatic, strictly flowing into a skeek, elegant and perfectly balanced palate, light on its feet, yet loaded with power, minerality and Cote Rotie references. In a word; amazing!

Tasting this wine at the 2007 open day- Majik was the first Pax wine to flip my noodle. Ross had his feet in these grapes and I didn't even know it at the time! And it is still as sweetly captivating as it was 5 years ago

24 hours upright and a double decant to remove the sediment, which was relatively modest. Dark, opaque purple red in color. Nose is a fragrant floral potpourri of pencil shavings, iron, and herbs. Palette shows tangy, tart blue and black fruits. Faded very fast. Drink quickly!
