The 2019 Syrah North Coast is superb. A boisterous, forward wine, the North Coast Syrah is loaded with inky dark fruit, chocolate, mint, licorice, spice and menthol. The North Coast was done 100% whole clusters and aged in a combination of concrete and neutral oak. It comes across as a bit riper in profile than most of the Pax Syrahs, but for a wine meant to be enjoyed young, who cares? (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2021)

Amazing dark fruit and pepper (at only 12.5% alc). Could easily fill in for N Rhone. Enjoyed as part of wine pairing at One White Street (NYC)

Savory with plenty of dark fruit. Could use a bit of cellar time to help balance it out a bit or not if that is your preference 😁

Solid Northern Rhone like appellation wine. Not as complex as the Sonoma Hillsides, but still thoroughly enjoyable. Better on day 2. Nice QPR.
