This is what Napa Cabernet is meant to be. Mint, molasses, cigar box, green pepper, stewed blackberry and black cherry, and sweet baking spices.

True to form the scorched earth and Graves like notes are on full display here, I always enjoy this wine with a few years and 10 seems perfect. A deep and clean nose of blackcurrant, black cherry, charcoal scorched earth and pencil shavings. The palate is clean and pronounced, with deep flavors and persistence. Excellent acidity this is one of the best Stagecoach for me ever. Drinking really well now, this can still go another 5-7 or more years.

Scorched earth, mineral, full bodied tannins, this is a St. Estephe meets Graves look-a-like. Fleshy blue and red fruits, glycerin, entry of fat in a good way. Again very nicely for the style.

This wine was dying to get out of the bottle. After 5 minutes this wine jumped to life. Beautiful structure and balance.

Wonderful full fruit nose, very dark with red rim, a mix of dark and red fruits, a nice heavy mouthfeel, fruit is still young, great acid balance, and a long dry finish. I think the critics underestimated this one, wish I had more. 2005's can be a bit one dimensional, not this one!

Very green nose. Right at its peak. Drink it up. Very chewy with a bit of a tannic finish. Black fruit is hidden between the green and oak. Really opened up as night came on.
