Double decant and pour. A mysterious dark garnet color. On the nose: cherry, floral, pine, little raspberry, smoke, licorice. Taste: A rich, smooth medium body wine with restrained cherry, orange peel, mushrooms, vanilla oak and a not my favorite spiced sour unripe strawberry medium plus finish. First time with this Winery...expecting more...though not one of their many single vineyard pinots.
