A fascinating vintage study of 10 next to 11. This 10 is fragile but quite beautiful. Aromatics suggest pear and poached stone fruit, and the palate is sort of in gentle repose. But on the finish one gets a gorgeous honey on cheese with a touch of compote and the mark of Chablis is undeniable. I think it’s showing a more complete and complex bouquet than the 2011 right now, and I’m excited that my last bottle is giving great pleasure.

Dec 23rd, 2018Just about holding pace with Butteaux, slightly less broad but with more mineral impact. A touch darker in color but seems to be hanging in there.

Jul 4th, 2017Pat's back! More delicate than I remember but still vital. Beeswax and honeydew nose, cool mid palate tartness, nice substantive finish, plenty of Chablis character! An old favorite!
