Deep purple at first. Decanted, notes from 2 hrs open. On the nose: cured meat, blackberry, toast, and a touch of charcoal. On the palate, good acidity, olive brine, smoked meat, loads of blackberry. Fimish is a touch short, and could be more dense, soft tannin on the finish. Very varietally correct, but just lacking something. Not bad.
