Strawberry, floral and slight barrel smoke notes in nose. Cherry, blackberry and floral flavors with some honey, spearmint, graphite; good acidity, slightly citric, bitter and saline finish. Cherry stone and slight honey, spearmint and licorice aftertaste. Moderate skin astringency on front of tongue and top of palate. Balanced flavor profile, though the floral Viognier comes through the more robust red varietal flavors. Worth aging this one.
