Still very young, but already a damn fine wine, which will age spectacularly well

Pretty spectacular. Great nose. Such a subtle wine on the front end but with a little kick to it. One of the best cab franc blends out there.

Good grief this is one smooth wine - The 2012 Hexameter is "radiant, supple and wonderfully expressive" nice, firm@tannins complimented the Smyth menu superbly. Give me this wine with a great meal and I'm set.

Tight and wonderful. 53% Cabernet Franc and 43% Cabernet Sauvignon with 4% Merlot to smooth it out on the end. The Cab Franc tannins are pronounced but not overpowering. Concentrated fruits balance it all out. Will keep some in the cellar for a while and see what happens.
