I enjoy wine just to enjoy it. Not an excuse but fact. Which leads to brief comments with not much technical analysis. Why. Well to be fair because I am not that good at it. But I like wine. And I like this just because it is dark but very bright and light in body. I like that it is from vineyards up high too. Anyway, I like but have no benchmark to rate it higher.

Like this! Red currant, raspberry, nice acidity, hint of black pepper. Very floral - red roses. Food friendly and easy to drink

Beaujolais feel through the looking glass-has some sage/underbrush flavors, for cab franc lovers like me. Fine minerally core echoing beaujo but its own world. Bonhome imports. Says white wine on back label!

Jan 18th, 2016Tasted over 3 days-1: unpleasant sap-green notes, like a poor cab franc; 2: evolved to riper bright red fruits, taut & great grip; 3: we,re home, fruit meets acid, closer to a good chinon, but still w a distinctive, high tone. 2010.
