Just a big ol’ inky jelly jar. Ripe fig and plum, rhubarb and tannins on the back end.

Massive, dominating spice and tannins. Nose yields new oak which only comes through slightly on the palate. Robitussin flavor falls apart fast. Mellows outconsiderably with decanting. Interesting wine

I'm not sure if I'm willing to agree with RP's points, but certainly his notes are spot on... "opaque ruby/purple color, gorgeous nose of creosote, kirsch liqueur and cassis with a touch of licorice, Provencal herbs and pepper." and "Delicious, full-bodied, unctuously textured, thick and juicy, this mouth-filling, big wine cuts a broad swath across the palate, but is never hot or awkward."

Of all the grenache styles I've tried through Orin Swift, this is more on the money. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Petite Syrah, from hillside vineyards in Sonoma. The nose exhibits notes of sweet pie cherries and caramel, and on the soft pallet, jammy strawberry and cherries, pepper, and a fast finish. Still a slightly hollow, light feel to the middle, but more flavor than the F or the E.

YUM! Grenache, Syrah, Petit Syrah. Ugh this is amazing. Great dark fruit and spice. Drink this by itself.
