‘Do it once and do it well’ is the mantra of Freya Hohnen’s father for how he loved and made wine. One which she carries with her. I was in the mood for a Chardy and lnew a Margaret River Chard would tick that box.
On the eye it’s a lemon-lime colour. The nose has a lovely creamy, butteriness to it with fresh citrus and a sprinkling of nuts 🤤 In the mouth there’s wonderful integrated oak which intertwined with delicious flavours of melon, nectarine and lychee.
