So dark and rich, wouldn't you make the switch?
Impressively, almost uncharacteristically, dark for PN. Nose is all dense, crunchy red fruits, cinnamon, with a whiff of ozone/pool chlorine/dusty mineral. Frankly carnal in texture; fleshy and dense, with tannins so smooth that they belie new world origin.
Could be spectacular (almost auto-corrected to spextacular!) with the right food, though this could pass for Syrah.
Oregon Pinot Camp triangle of flavor: red/purple fruit, fleshy, spicy.

Fresh and fruity, lots of strawberry. Could be paired with anything. So easy to drink.

Pleasant with pork tenderloin ($20) but prefer Willful and Madison L’Envoye. The Olenik had a lovely nose and was fruity but a bit too sweet for me.

In a great place now. Has a bit of that Bordeaux concrete/wet stones essence.

Good Oregon Pinot (Burgundy clone). Nice pale color, gentle but quite complex nose. A little fruits with tannic finish. 340 cases produced, nice wine from SD Wine Co.

Opaque, dark purple, no sediment. Vanilla, oak, sour cherries on nose. Very oaky, dry cigar box, tart red fruits on palette. Medium- body, long finish. Enjoyed this, but a little oaky for my taste, especially in a vintage like 2012.

Like you poured a Flanders Red beer on an asphalt road on a fall day in Oregon. And wild mountain strawberries. Lots. (If you don't like Brett, pass on this one. But I love it.)

Damp earth, mushrooms, black fruit, relatively high acid and light bodied. A delicious 2011.
