Bright red fruit on nose and palate but slightly candied. Moderate tannin, slight bite towards finish, full body. I would hope to get a bit more with a few years in the bottle and paired nicely with steak, but was hoping for a bit more complexity.

Rich red tapers to ruby color. Hints of blackberry.
Light tannin, smooth bite and finish. Stands up by itself, excellent when paired.

I really enjoy this wine. As the little brother of the plump jack family it shares a lot with its more expensive brother. Smooth, full and soft. This is a winner
