I don’t drink Cab often but when I do I would like for it to taste like Cab. This was very light with hardly any tannins. Not enough acidity to justify that either. Mostly strawberries and very strong tea notes.

A fun no frills (no small print) label. It is a light to midweight Cab that has a red fruit profile. Rather short, there isn't much depth here. That said, it's enjoyable enough. Some small print to say where the grapes are from (beyond simply California) would be welcome.

It’s got a lot going for it. Fruit forward and should be easy drinking but the fruit has a candied, medicinal quality that turned me off.

Black fruit under influence of subtle florals, palate wide tannins, good acidic structure, spice on the back of the palate

a cab from California - not much else to say. It did the trick, unremarkable nose, ok on the palate.

Love the tartness - just a teeny bit!

Very straightforward, lighter Cab. Well balanced without being too fruity. Not much depth, just a good, easy drinking wine.

A Pinot drinker’s cab. This wine was meant to be enjoyed with friends. It’s connections to Chicago are clear in the taste. A tough brawny exterior and upbringing, coats this gentle beauty. A softness then comes when you’re there. Softness and fun among structure and architecture.

Fruity with a bite, I dig it. Very good for a cab
