I know, 2014. Nice fruity wine with some tar and tobacco on the nose. I felt the finish was a little short, but this was very good and enjoyable.

Valtellina Superiore from the Inferno viticultural sub-zone, made from 95% chiavennasca (the local name for nebbiolo); 5% pignola and pinot nero. Just as to be expected, the wine is crimson bright color, aromas of dried red fruit, and tar. Medium body, with excellent acidity, good balance. Food wine. Went smooth with home made pizza. Very good.
