Brut Anderson Valley Gewürztraminer

Hazelnut, sherry flor, baked apple, Bosc pear, sourdough toast in the nose. Meyer lemon, a grape-y note that descends quickly into a chalky brioche, marmalade dust and mandarin pith. #andersonvalley

A couple bottles with family & a great ham. Nice a little exotic - might have preferred it in still form. Base wine was Gewurtztraminer.

2006 RD. Not as leesy cheesy as I would have guessed. Lemon, plum, white chocolate, white flowers. Such a gem.
