Nov 5th, 2018This bottle needed an hour or so to come together and smooth out, after which it was the ripe, dark fruited Napa cab I expected. Still has a significant amount of tannin and a good dose of peppery spice, so I would imagine it has at least another year or two until peak. A top value at the release price of $50.

Aug 28th, 2017This cab is firing on all cylinders at this point, with its terrific ripe fruit and rounded, velvety tannins working in perfect balance. I don't see further upside with additional cellaring, so I plan to drink my last two bottles in the next 1-2 years.

Surprisingly open out of the gate but really hit its stride after about an hour or so in the decanter.
