Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese
2015. Doesn't pretend to be anything other than it is. Bright red fruit combined with expected minerality. Too easy to drink and a great match tonight with grilled bone-in pork chops. Wish I had bought a case. Thanks to David Lynch and Ian Cauble for a great pick. At $18 more than satisfying QPR. Magnums next time.

Dec 11th, 2015The gorgeous vibrant color indicates the fruit forward character of this wine. Coupled with it's 13% alcohol this 2014 rose has a lovely mouthfeel and fruit quality. Certainly a nice alternative to more northerly European roses this year.
