Clear and rather dark for an NZ Pinot. Dry and herbal notes on the nose with black tea, citrus peel and a hint of smoke. The tea note carries on the palate with blue fruit and citrus. A bit heavy with oak but lively acidity let's it go with a variety of foods. Nice and a good value. 2013 Vintage
