Now this is a fun lil sparkler. Long on fun. Gold color with active perlage. The bubbles are medium sized and is creamy upon entry. Definitely above average when it comes to sweetness and it’s up to you whether that’s good or bad. Floral notes primarily on the nose along with the customary citrus fruits. Just a little touch of overt grassland and vanilla cream.
80/20 Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. Really nice structure and balance. Light, bright, and ready to party. The palate is clean, fresh, and mostly follows the nose. Slightly bitter apricot and lemon zest. Nectarines, mint, and lime. Perfectly pleasant even lacking the subtlety and complexity of champagne.
