Strong cherries on the nose, some cedar and leather notes. Cocoa on the palate, too, fuller bodied and decently strong tannic backbone.

Structure, unresolved. Tobacco and brambly blueberries. Tannins not what I expected for a Napa cab this young. Fine and gentle. Happy birthday to my favorite birder!
