An elegant, complex nose, just hints of black fruits and mint and cigar box. Palate was slightly faded but still had all the elements to make a wonderful mouthful. Unfortunately, I've been spoiled by a 94 I had a few years ago that was spectacular, a clear 10. This stands in its shadow but is still a very good bottle.
