What a bottle! This 33 year old Pinot was as good as almost any California wine I have had- a top notch experience. It was an incredible partner to Cinnamon's Bossam (a fabulous slow cooked pork dish) that changed with every sip. It had plenty of sweet fruit and great texture, and was at times shockingly pure and at others meaty and savory. A great, swelling, complex finish completed the experience!

By far the oldest pinot I've ever had. Cork seeped all the way through. Spice, currant, raisin and prune. Very nice acidity. Only a hint of fruit left on the pallate, but still drinking shockingly well. A pleasure to taste--different, unique, and very special.

75% New oak. Unfined / Unfiltered. Dried beef, earth notes, light tannin, light acid. Such an intriguing PN

Was it really pinot noir? Dark colored, high tannin, showing some medicinal qualities. A fun fact- this wine was made by Merry Edwards

This was stellar. Bewitching even. So fragrant--I'll be seeking these out.

There's a reason a lot of people love this wine. And that reason is in the bottle. Yum!

So damn good from the balance to the layered spices and tight dark red fruits
