Lookit that color. Mt Eden is so damn consistent and so good. Butterscotch, vanilla bean creme brûlée, mandarin orange, lemon zest, clove, pineapple cake, bit of smoke. Almost touches an exotic fruit register, quite opulent but I’m all about it. @Adriana Fabbro give your Rombauer customers this instead

Interesting nose one this. Savory/earth combine with melon, melon skin, golden orchard fruit, salt, subtle brown spice. Almost an underlying underbrush note. I really liked this because of its story, vineyard, lineage but did find the bottle in a but of a funky spot. Curious to try this vintage again. Structurally the wine is very balanced, def oak, a wine of place.

Deep gold. Hedonistic without being at all out of balance. Vibrant and fresh to balance out the richness. Lemon curd, spiced pear, vanilla, butterscotch, plenty of acid.
