The 2018 Chardonnay is such a gorgeous wine. Apricot, tangerine oil, butter, spice and a touch of reduction give the 2018 a decidedly exotic flair, but then the Santa Cruz Mountains minerality kicks in to frame things beautifully. Rich, textured and vibrant in the glass, the 2018 is a terrific wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2022)

A little stinky reductive upon opening, resolving to quince and pineapple, but the nose remains pinched, mainly showing smoke and phenolic woody scents. Full bodied with robust acidity and oak tannins on the palate. Overwrought; just doesn’t come together.

Super elegant and on the lighter side. So Pratty and delicious. Sometimes we like this better than Mt. Eden.

Pre-baked Apple pie that you're just putting into the oven. Sour apple, pear, dough and cinnamon spice. Macadamia nut in the mouth. Holding true to my belief that 2013 is the best Chard vintage in the recent run

California classic. A bit reduced maybe but really approachable. And delicious. Toast & terroir!

Ripe citrus, baked apple, and pear. Canned peach, stewed stone fruits and a hint of tropical fruits. Medium (plus) minerality: stones and mushrooms. Relatively restrained use of oak: smoke.Gold with a hint of green. Diminished acidity.
