The 2016 Willamette Valley Chardonnay Sandi is a cuvée of 60% Yamhill Vineyards, 30% Loubejac, and 10% The Eyrie Vineyards, blended after one year in barrel. It is the matriarch of the 2016 Chardonnays. Native yeasts fermented the wines, the only additive was sulfur. The wine rested in 45% new French oak for one year, followed by a half year as a cuvée in steel, on the lees. Minimal stirring and full malo took place and the wine was bottled unfined/unfiltered. 75 six packs and 18 magnums produced.
