What a wine. Just a gorgeous nose. Licorice. Really intense licorice. Red. Spice. Bowls and bowls of mid season red cherries. Pepper. Some purple sag fruit but also plummy merlot scents. Palate is rich and ripe with delicate and graceful tannins and lovely licorice and cherry fruit. Fresh and energetic. Terrific palate presence and compactness. Juicy and so well made. Awesome.
