Still has a long life ahead, but showing quite nicely now. Very quietly complex, and a nice value.

Lovely lithe cherry & pomegranite, crunchy, stemmy & earthy. Saying a lot but speaking softly. Seems wise beyond its years. #pinotnoir #1ercru #burgundy

Garnet color. Sour cherries, licorice, sous-bois and spice from the oak on the nose. The oak softened significantly over the years but it is still present with the red and dark fruits on the palate. Nice acidity and medium+ to long finish.

Color is a bit pale, almost looks like aging wine, but the taste proves the opposite—extremely light, open, drinkable bottle. Lots of oak, cherry and tobacco. Tannic, but in a pleasant way. I wouldn't like this wine on any other day, but tonight it turned out to be the perfect choice for lighter Burgundy.
