Hint of cedar with currant and rose hips on the nose. Flavors are decent. Full bodied with a cherry juice and apple peel base. Some nice mocha and bit of licorice. For very low priced Syrah this avoids a lot of pit falls and makes for a nice representation of the varietal. Nothing epic. But not bad, not bad at-all.
