We definitely visited there today but ran out of time to taste as we had to get to Yangarra Estate. So, when we saw this on the list at "The Barn Bristro", we figured why not as we could go back to taste there but not sure it fits into an already tight schedule of appointments. This is easy to drink now but is better in 2-3 years. However, it's not engineered to cellar more than 5-7 years. It's lean on complexity but has nice ripe blue fruits, blackberries, black plum, black raspberries, hint of understated pepper, warm spice, light baking spicing, used coffee grounds, dark chocolate, black licorice, big acidity and a polished finish. Good QPR. If you don't know the story behind the name, "Molly Dooker", it's an Australian term for a left handed boxer or someone who is left handed. Apparently, they couldn't come up with a winery name amongst the group and finally someone threw out MollyDooker. Bet that person was a lefty! 👊

Very heavy staining and tears, dark inky purple heavy almost overwhelming aroma of mocha and burnt wood hints of blueberries and dark chocolate.. Same notes on the palate with a sweet oak note... Not May favorite from #mollydooker
