My favorite of the Dooker's :

Very deep green-purple in color, the 2011 Carnival of Love flaunts a very expressive and fragrant nose with floral notes, roses and potpourri intermingled with toasty black cherries, creme de cassis, chocolate, pepper and accents of cinnamon and cloves. Rich, ripe and full-bodied, this concentrated, single-vineyard 100% Shiraz retains crisp acid, has low to medium levels of soft silky tannins before finishing very harmoniously and long. Drink it from 2014 to 2022+.

And after double decanting, still a little tight yet seeping RICH fruit. Big big big. IMHO 5 more years until I'd try this vintage again, unless I break down.

Rich, hedonistic, indulgent. Plum pudding, new saddle, blackberry cobbler, potpourri, fresh-rolled cigar, black sausage. Great glass for a nightcap instead of a Port or PX Sherry.

Dense and super complex before and after the Mollydooker Shake. Hints of blueberry, creme and smoke. Wide range of herbs and spiced textures on the sip. Vivid and refined finish that lingers for minutes...

If you are a fan of this style you will be in heaven. I have nothing against “big “ wines but in this case all I taste is raisins and oak. This is what makes markets , there is wine for all palates

The thing I love about Mollydooker is it never disappoints if you like Shiraz. This was a balance of fruit, acid, and earth. Great to drink young but this one has sustainability.
