Deep ruby red with garnet edges. Dark berries and plums in the nose with some cinnamon, spices and some olives. Medium tannins (6/10) and full bodied. Rich palate with layers of plums, dark spices, caramel and some earthiness. Drink till 2025.

Good god this was fantastic! Only misgiving is that I opened it 20yrs before prime... super soft, lush red plum, vanilla, sandlewood. Just a heaping glass of flavor. Tons of sediment, but that’s what a toothbrush is for, right? Drank this w/ a matching Enchanted Path (just slightly less rich) - for daughter #2 college grad & loved every drop of it.

2009.. lost some fruit mojo with age.. some hints of leather, incense and tobacco took over especially on pop and pour .. these blew off a little the next day!
