Nice find @Ron Siegel! Classy from a region that usually goes over the top...Penedes. Had this after a Red Bordeaux to refresh.

Unexpectedly great Spanish Chardonnay. Deep straw color. Seductive notes of ripe summer fruits: peaches, apricot, and underlying hints of toasted aromas and oak. Refined and structured. Creamy and full with a long finish. Soft acidity. Think of a perfect marriage between Burgundy and California.
